Understanding Inner and Carton Prices in wholesale
Blue represents the Products (units)
Green represents the Inners where the Units are packaged in to.
Orange shows the Carton in which the inners are packaged in to.
In this example, the unit price of the Product is £5.00.
Ordering by the Inner:
Unit: 1 Product
Inner: 3 units
Unit Price: £5.00
When ordering by the carton:
Carton: 6 Products (units)
Unit Price: £5.00
Each product has a unit price. There are a certain number of units in 1 inner and a certain number of inners in a carton.
You can order by the carton or by the inner (depending on the quantity you require).
In the diagram (on the right) the Blue boxes represent the Products (units), in this example there are 3 units to 1 inner. The inners are the Green boxes where the Units (in blue) are packaged.
In this example there are 2 inners per carton. The Orange shows the Carton in which the 2 inners (in green) are packaged.
Calculation of inner price and carton price of this example: -
The unit price is £5.00 and we know there are 3 units per inner.
Therefore the inner price is £15.00 (3 units x £5).
We also know there are 2 inners in 1 carton, therefore the carton price is £30.00 (2 inners x £15)
